Bluebird Pair Beginning Nesting Behavior

I bet they find a good price on a house these days
How lucky you are to have them so close…our bluebird boxes are along our fence line and scenes like this can only be seen through binoculars. I didn’t realize they would be comfortable this close to humans.

I LOVE Bluebirds! Some of my earliest childhood memories involve watching them build nests and sit on the telephone wires outside the cottage in Kentucky (one of my favorite places) where we spent our summers.
They are such gorgeous birds, and these photos are fantastic!
