Sunrise Over The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge – Skywatch Friday

Sunrise Over The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge

It was near freezing when I took this sunrise photo but the day warmed up nicely for our adventure at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge.  We saw over 65 species that day and I documented some on film (digital that is).

For more great skywatch photos, go to Skywatch Friday and have a ball!

Simply beautiful. I don’t live that far from Sac, so I think I should drive there and bring my camera.

This is a beautiful capture. It is always amazing to see birds migrating, the patterns they form are so profound and there is such order to what they do. Makes me appreciate nature even more 🙂

What a great shot! Those colors are incredible… and we musn’t forget the birds! Though not terribly expert, I’m a bit of a birder, myself.

I’m doing SkyWatch for the first time this week, so I’d love it if you’d stop by:
